Buenos Aires, April 6 (NA) – The City of Buenos Aires has implemented a toll exemption for Falklands War veterans. The measure was signed by the Minister of Mobility and Infrastructure of the City, Pablo Bereciartua, and implemented by Autopistas Urbanas (AUSA). In this way, Argentine war veterans who served in the Malvinas Operational Theater (TOM) and the South Atlantic Operational Theater (TOAS) during the 1982 conflict will be able to apply for the benefit to travel on the city's highways without paying tolls with their registered vehicle. How to access the Falklands Veterans Exemption. The process to apply for the benefit can be initiated online through the AUSA website. 1. Go to the website www.ausa.com.ar, select the Customer Service option, and then Falklands Veterans Exemption. 2. Download, complete, and sign the Affidavit, either digitally or handwritten. 3. Send the following documentation to excombatientesmalvinas@ausa.com.ar: Signed Affidavit, valid National Identity Document (front and back), Vehicle registration certificate. 4. Confirm the application. If the person already has a TelePASE device installed, it will serve to access the benefit once the process is completed.
